Welcome to Happy Day! We are small licensed out of school care programs operating out of St. Nicholas Catholic Elementary School (formerly Jean Vanier) as well as Ecole Pere Kenneth Kearns.

 

We opened in St. Nicholas in 2012 and EPK in 2013. Prior to the cancellation of the provincial accreditation process both centers were fully accredited. 

 

We operate in our own classroom spaces, have use of the gymnasium after school hours, and have access to the beautiful park space adjacent to both schools.

We offer care from kindergarten to grade 5. We are open year round with the exception of statutory and civic holidays as well we close for a few extra days between Christmas and New Years. We offer a flexible summer program that we hope helps families meet their needs and keeps our program viable all year round.

 

The beauty of a school based program is that it cuts down on transitions for students. Students spend more of their day engaging with students and staff rather than on the bus between school and care. We are small programs, normally with 20-25 kids total.

Grade School Pricing $450/month

Kindergarten $206 (after grant is applied)

*Further subsidy available for grade school if house hold income is less then $120000/ year and for kinder students with a household income of less then $180000/year
